Moving to a new area is fraught with enough problems, without considering the daunting task of shopping for a home in addition to finding a Realtor you can trust. At Metro Properties, we understand this, and we are experts in relocation. We have a long history of finding buyers the right home by following a refined process to help speed up your search.
When relocating, you often don't have the time to look at every conceivable area listing. Most likely, you'll be able to tour a couple dozen, so whittle down your list first thing with this advice:
- Before you get here, send us a couple of lists: One should be of things you require in your new home. The other should be for optional things you want. When a house can't fulfill your basic needs, we can obviously eliminate it from the list.
- Know your budget. If you are getting a mortgage, have your pre-approved amount in advance so we can eliminate homes out of your price range.
- Consider drive time to your job or other interests. Traffic around Oklahoma City could be different than what you're used to, so tell us how much time you're ready to spend travelling each day.
We can send you some top recommendations prior to your arrival. Or you might already have some favorite listings as a result of your own research. While virtual tours and photos are invaluable, there's nothing like walking through homes in person. Let us set up any necessary appointments with other Realtors or homeowners and map a route. If we work efficiently, we could go to 8 to 10 homes in a single day.
